About the Authors – Mary Liz Jameson is an Associate Professor at Wichita State University, Kansas. She is a biodiversity scientist whose research focuses on evolutionary patterns and species diversity, particularly for scarab beetles. Brett Ratcliffe is the Curator of Insects at the Nebraska State Museum and Professor in the Department of Entomology at the University of Nebraska. He is a specialist in the systematics of scarab beetles, especially those of the Neotropics.
