1041 Series Display Cases
Wood and glass cases are attractive units in which to display specimens. They may be used in the home, office, or for classroom exhibits. These cases are produced with the same careful assembly methods found in BioQuip insect storage drawers. Three sizes are listed, with clear gloss acrylic exterior finish. They are also available unfinished for customers wishing to apply an exterior finish or stain of their choice. Deft clear wood finish is recommended as a suitable finish for these cases.
Materials:
- Kiln dried pine frame
- Single strength glass top; 1/8″ hardboard bottom
- 3/8″ plastazote foam pinning bottom
- 2 brass plated hooks
Dimensions:
- 2-1/2″ deep (64mm) O.D.
- 1-5/8″ inside height (plus foam bottom)
Note:
1041CP & 1041CU: These cases are shipped in a custom carton holding 1 or 2 cases. Due to their size, they cannot be shipped by Parcel Post. Carton charge for 1 or 2 1041CP or 1041CU display cases is $5.25.

Does the case have any hardware on the back to allow hanging on a wall?
No, the case does not come with any hardware to hang it on the wall. It can hung in either direction, horizontal or vertical or you can stand it up on a shelf. You can use whatever type of hanger you would like, just be sure to attach it to the hardwood edges of the back and not the dark center board. The dark board is much thinner and a screw might punch through it into the foam and damage your specimens.
