Odonata Specimen Envelopes

These optically clear envelopes are the preferred method for housing Odonata collections. A dried dragonfly or damselfly and a 3″ x 5″ file card are inserted into a transparent envelope. Envelopes are closed by stapling, folding or heat sealing. Specimens are filed vertically in #1025OD storage trays or a suitable box, and can be examined without removal from the envelope. Fragile parts, which may be broken, can be retained with specimens.

End-opening envelopes are made of 1.25 mil ultra-clear, non-static polypropylene, a chemically inert plastic suitable for long-term specimen storage. Dimensions are 3-1/8″ x 6″ long (8.9 x 15 cm). Sold in packs of 100.
