A Naturalist in Birdwing Paradise CD-ROM
$30.00
Ever since their discovery, birdwing buterflies of the genus Ornithoptera have been regarded among the most beautiful of all butterflies and named by some as ‘the butterflies of paradise’.
This work comes as a sequel to the book Fluttering Encounters in the Amazing Archipelago, #9263, by Jan Pasternak. The CD contains challenging field experiences, memoirs & photos not published in the book. It also includes some fascinating & thrilling observations, data and photographs not commonly found in birdwing literature.
The CD describes the story of how one man has studied birdwing butterflies over nearly 40 years of living and traveling in birdwing country. There are 72 pages in PDF format and almost all have photographs showing habits, personalities, the people, living butterflies and their early stages, including the fabled Ornithoptera alexandrae.
