Protected in a shock-resistant case, this instrument measures altitude to 16,000 feet in 100-foot increments. The clear, easy-to-read dial can be calibrated to known elevations by simply turning the outside dial. Barometric pressure between 21 inches and 31 inches of mercury is measured on the inner ring. Calibration is made by turning a flathead screw (with a coin) on the back of the unit. The altimeter/barometer is protected in a soft, vinyl case with a clear window, and a lanyard is attached to prevent loss or damage from dropping.
