Box of notecards features entomologist/artist Christopher Marley’s colorful arrangements. The arthropod art is all natural – no color enhancement, digital replication, or other computer trick is involved in its creation. Insect collection is a boon to rainforest and jungle bug populations: if indigenous people can make money by catching insects, they are less likely to turn delicate ecosystems over to agricultural use. Loss of habitat, not collection, is the real threat to insect populations.
This box of notecards includes four each of four captivaing images. Cards are printed with soy-based inks on recycled paper. The panoramic blank notecards, size 3-15/16 x 9-1/4″, are supplied with white envelopes in a decorative box. Cards do not require extra postage when mailing in the USA.
